A small word.
Yet the foundation of world.
The best you can give
The worst you can deceive.


Foundation of relationship,
Hurts when leaves the grip.
Absolutely precious
Kills when proved obnoxious.


Essence of life
May turn into a double edged knife.
If hell breaks loose 
All the cordial ties are cut loose..


The strongest thread
Yet a fragile bend.
Dwells in the heart
Yet glitters in the eyes with an art.


Consciousness' ornament,
Heart's firmament.
A notion abstract!!
More important than a fact!!


Gist of life
But prone to lie.
Even friendship dies
When Trust dies.


It's difficult and beautiful to be
Both TRUSTWORTHY and TRUSTEE.
Just learn to trust "TRUST"
Let not the "RUST" IN "tRUST" get you first!!!

DESIRE


Desire is pyre.
It's man's own bonfire!!
Makes one insane
and even inhumane!!


It makes one oblivious
Being its only focus!!
Desire toys with life
and makes one strife!!


Desire digs a pit of fantasy
And lo!! I feel ecstasy!!
But when I fall into the pit,
I feel like a git!!


As the truth unfolds straightaway
And my dreams fade away!!
The desire that once ignited my mind
Is now burning my life!!


Desire-- my only concern
Has left me with without any orientation!!
to face the bitter truth
with all my ruth!!

                                               HOPE

A flickering flame!
Hard to set ablaze,
Easier to douse.
Stays locked up in my beating house!


One thing I know for sure
Whatever might come it is the cure.
Whenever my pace goes unsteady,
It is always there for me ready!!


It brings smile to my scorched lips
And glitter to my parched eyes.
It makes the darkness shy away
And my jilted heart sway!!


It always gives,
Never takes.
It seldom leaves
Puts my nothing at stake!!


But Why does it stay hidden?
And disappears all of a sudden??
Glad it comes back though!
When times are intensely rough!!


Its doors are always left open
This is the truth; no pun.
Not just for me 
But for all those who want to see.


Always comes with a choice 
Decision rests with the wise!!
